A beautiful monochrome ceramic tile leaf backsplash with an Eastern mix, including tulip shaped leaf tiles, white oak tile leaves, sassafras shaped leaves, rosebud leaf tiles, tile ash leaves, witch hazel leaf tiles, and walnut tree leaf tiles.
This mosaic tile kitchen back splash is soft and beautiful. My client wasn't sure what to do for the listel border, so I suggested that she integrate some of her small square glass tiles into the border. She placed a few in the leaf shaped tile area as well. Gorgeous!
Another beautiful monochrome look is this mix of green leaf ceramic tiles/ mosaic leaf tiles.
All of our decorative, handmade ceramic tiles are 100% custom. Because of this, we require paint store paint swatches from you. We don't have a color chart. That way you get what you want, not what we have stocked.
stone-like monochrome kitchen leaf tile backsplash
Another beautiful travertine leaf tile design was achieved by the use of 3 clay bases. These leaf tiles use tan and off-white clay bases that are marbled together to lend a stone-like appearance.
Ceramic tile leaf kitchen back splash
As you can see in the picture below, the leaves have a very stone-like appearance, but are actually a fully vitrified ceramic tile. Mocha Fudge stain was rubbed into the veins of these tile leaves to emphasize the leaves veins in these handmade ceramic tiles. A wonderful color match to this travertine stone tile. Thanks M. Christenson for the skillfully taken pictures!

a truly classic and elegant kitchen backsplash
This is one of my favorites. It is very similar to the ceramic tile leaf pictures above, but these tile leaves are stained with an underglaze called Buck Nake~d. Subtle shading for a very elegant, yet classic ceramic tile backsplash. We also can make the long thin border tiles.
Classic ceramic tile leaf kitchen backsplash design in off-white and Buck Nake~d glaze
Subtle, pure beauty is the only way to describe the gorgeous decorative ceramic tile leaves. Hints of airbrushed green and teal tones with forest green veins grace these these leaf tiles giving them a very cosmopolitan, classic feel. A perfect addition to any home.
Ceramic tile leaves with green stained veins that were airbrushed with 2 shades of green to add a bit of interest, yet maintain a very classic look and feel.
a monochrome — airbrushed ceramic tile leaf bathroom floor design
This is another amazingly beautiful ceramic tile leaf floor design called Leaves in Stones. It was a small 3 SF leaf order, but it went a long way. It can be found on two separate bathroom ceramic tile / stone floors. These realistic leaf tiles have burgundy vein and a bit of light burgundy airbrushing for added dimension. This is one of my favorite ceramic tile glazing techniques. It adds such richness to the monochrome leaf tiles.
Ceramic tile leaves in stone
Beautiful ceramic tile leaves using comfrey, fig, oak, and fern leaves. The leaf tiles veins were stained with a brown and the tile leaves themselves were airbrushed in burgundy. The client set these handmade, decorative leaf tiles in polished stone.
The clay base is a cream ceramic tile base to add a hint of yellow/cream to the burgundy tile leaves. These ceramic tile leaves blend beautifully with the tile rocks used to highlight the tile leaves. Bang up job Nanci M. of Sacramento, California!

a timeless and classic coloration — off-white with a buck-nake~d veins
Our tile leaves are made using real leaves. Just look at the veins in this blood root leaf that was used to make this leaf tile....amazing! Our leaf tiles are the most realistic ceramic tile leaves in the ceramic tile industry because of this design technique.
Blood root ceramic tile leaf
Tile leaves shown above are maple, cottonwood, clary sage, oak leaf hydrangea, hydrangea, oak, comfrey, blood root, and hosta leaf tiles.
I like to use leaves with good vein structure for our monochrome leaf tiles. The stains in the veins are more predominant with good vein structure. Maples and oaks have weak structure but are popular for their shape.
monochrome ceramic tile leaf border
Another of my favorites is this monochrome ceramic tile leaves / leaf border It has subtle changes in tones. Lavender / gold / tans / beige / gray — only in the ceramic tile leaf veins! Still classical, yet just a hint of color.
